Mos Burger
Mos Burger and Tasty Burger seem to be the biggest local competitors to McDonalds.
We stopped by the Mos Burger in Nakano, north of the train station.
It was easy to order a burger and orange juice, as the menu has pictures which you can point to. Note that Japanese prounciation is 'ham-ba-gah' so you might be able to order in simple English!
We sampled the burger with lettuce, tomato, and 1000 island sauce. After ordering,
you take a seat, and wait about 5 min for the cook to bring your burger to you.
The burger was good, different than any burger in the states. The beef almost tasted like turkey or pork .. different.
This burger was about 500 yen (about $6).
