Detail for Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon : Restaurant,
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
My son toke me to Lone Star Steakhouse yesterday, the one on E. Flamingo. I wanted to go back there because we use to always go there before they remodeled the place and we finally did to our big disappointment. The seating was prompt because there was hardly anyone in there. The service was terrible, the food was even more terrible then the service. Our waitress was supposed to be back shortly to cash us out and we had to wait, wait, and wait. My husband steak was suppose to be well done, it was burnt on the outside, bloody on the inside, smothered with way too much onions. I had the SW shrimp and pasta and it tasted like they poured a bunch of sand in it. I kept gagging with a the grit that was on the pasta, and the shrimp was half cooked. My son's streak was the same as my husbands steak. The only good thing was the monterey chicken that was smothered in cheese and mushrooms. They served us the appetizer that we ordered almost right away, but we got a salad just before the served our dinner. Needless to say, we will not be going back there again. The food was excellent before they renovated the place. Now I know we liked it better with all the peanut sheels on the floor since the food was great. The decor was great but it leaves much to be desired for it's food and service. - Gwen H, 04/14/2006
