What a find in Green Valley! Best of Las Vegas winner for 2005 in the Pastry category. Layers is a dessert bakery cafe with a great selection of made from scratch cakes, pies, cookies, pastries and more. Their coffee and espresso beverages are great as well. Decor is hip and very cozy for it's suburban location in the Trader Joe's plaza at Green Valley Pkwy and Sunset. Everything is made with all natural ingredients and no preservatives. I was visiting in Vegas for a week and stumbled across the sweetest little shop. Inside were cases of beautiful homemade designer cakes, along with cookies, scones, brownies and just about anything else you could think of. Once I bought one thing I couldn't stop till I tried (almost) the entire selection- and let me tell you everything was WONDERFUL! No wonder they keep getting voted best in Las Vegas- definitely a must see (and taste)! - Karisa W, 06/11/2008
