The subdued glimpses of black chandeleiers dripping from the ceiling lured me in... and it lived up to it's allure! This place is fabulous.... truly wonderful food and ambience. Sipping chardonay at the bar, they produced a huge quarter wheel of regiano and chunked it for me to nibble on. Before my appetizer sampler plate arrived.. I was served fried zuchinni that was a wonderful surprise and quite a treat. Paper thin slices, soft and succulent in olice oil, seasoned perfectly. The menu seems to focus on veal and scondi... some serious food. I also met soem charming upper crust locals who take all thier out of town guests here... I can see why.
