We recently ate at Don Alejandro's Texan Grill (October 2008)- and the food was GREAT! They seated us quickly & took our order - they brought the food out pretty fast, and it tasted EXCELLENT!!! We would definitely recommend anyone passing through the airport to eat there. They make a fantastic Houston Steak Sandwich & the Tilapia Ranchera was perfect! - Peter & Lisa, Portland Oregon, 11/22/2008

Great food, affordable prices, excellent service! I would give this 5 stars! - Jane K., Duport WA, 11/22/2008

We stopped by the grill on our way back to California this afternoon June 3rd. The server was awful and paid very little attention to us.. we had to chase her down for drink refills etc.. Anyway we decided that the poor service did not warrant a tip. When I arrived home this evening I checked my visa statement and the waitress altered the signed receipt and added a rather large tip. Be wary of using your credit card at this restaurant! You might just find that your number has been skimmed. C. Heard San Jose Ca - C. Heard, 06/04/2008

My flight was delayed and my family & I recieved a meal vouchers from United Airlines so I came to this Texan Grill and it was okay. The food was not the best I ever had but it surely was not as bad as stated in other comments. They were indeed busy and my waiter was very friendly. The service that he had provided to my family was great. The cashiers however are very unfriendly and that is something that they need to improve on since the cashiers are the first people that us customers see as well as the last people that we see. Other than the unfriendly and grouchy cashiers, everything was fine. If someone from this grill is reading this, you may respond to me at rtucker@yahoo.com and I would gladly give you more information about my visit. - R.Tucker, 04/20/2007

HI EVERYONE I VISITED LAS VEGAS ON APRIL 6 2007. WE WERE AT THE AIRPORT AND WANTED TO EAT SOMETHING BEFORE LEAVING. WE STOPPED AT A PLACE CALLED DON ALEJANDRO'S TEXAN GRILL ON THE 2ND FLOOR. THE FOOD WAS GREAT, LARGE PORTIONS AND GOOD SERVICE. IT WAS THE BEST FOOD WE HAVE EVER HAD AT AN AIRPORT! WE RECOMMEND TO STOP BY DON ALEJANDRO'S TEXAN GRILL IF YOU ARE AT THE LAS VEGAS AIRPORT. BY THE WAY, WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY BETTER MEXICAN FOOD WHILE WE WERE IN LAS VEGAS. THANKS DON ALEJANDROS TEXAN GRILL SUPER JOB! TINA - TINA, 04/20/2007

I really enjoyed my meal in this place! the service was good considering it was very busy. The food was very authentic, I would definetly recommend this restaurant for those traveling in Vegas. You usually expect airport food to be below average. Good job - tommy, 04/20/2007

I just left the Las Vegas airport on Sunday March 25th and I could not wait to go there. I flew to Vegas on Thursday and I was so hungry when I got off the plane and this was the first place that I had seen, so I had stopped in waited for about two minutes to be seated and was greeted by my server very quickly and placed my order for a grilled cheese with ham and fries, and let me tell you....that tasted so good!! The service was great, food came out fast, and not pricey AT ALL. I am so happy that I did stop in!! On my way back home to Burbank, California, I left extra early to try the breakfast and it too was just as good at I thought it would have been. I wish we had a Don Alejandro's Texan Grill out here in Burbank. - Cathy Moore, 03/27/2007

I AM FROM TEXAS AND RECENTLY STOPPED BY AT DON ALEJANDRO'S TEXAN GRILL AT MCCARRAN AIRPORT AND I THOUGHT THE FOOD WAS GREAT!! I ENJOYED THAT THE FOOD WAS AUTHENTIC. CONSIDERING THAT THE RESTAURANT WAS VERY BUSY, WE WERE SERVED IN A FAST MANNER AS WE HAD NOT YET HEADED TO THE GATED AREA. I WOULD DEFINITELY EAT THEIR AGAIN AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THE RESTAURANT TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO EAT WITH THEIR FAMILY BEFORE THEY HIT THE RESTRICTED AREAS. GOOD JOB. - POKEY1112@COX.NET, 03/26/2007

New Year's Eve, eight of us travelling from Las Vegas to Florida ate here. Food was cold, expensive and probably the worst mexican food we've ever had. No chips/salsa, and even if there was, salsa was terrible. Would definitely NOT recommend eating here. - Marion C, 01/08/2007

On March 21st I was on my way home to WA state and had lunch at Don Alejandro's. First we couldn't get waited on then we couldn't get a check to pay. While I was looking for the waitress I saw the person working the cash register blow their nose and keep on working. I got up and ask who the manager was. I was told the person who blew their nose was the manager. I told him I would never come back because of his behavior. He said he was sorry and it was wrong but kept right on working, touching my credit card, receipts to sign, and money. I left no tip and it made me sick. - Billie M, 03/28/2006

WARNING! This place serves the most watered-down margaritas I've ever had, and they don't tell you on the menu that they cost EIGHT DOLLARS EACH! Do NOT patronize this business—the food is good, but they're scamming you big-time. When my husband complained about the outrageous price (and about the fact that you could neither taste nor feel the tequila in them), the manager said, 'Well, nobody's ever complained before.' I am certain that is untrue. The night before, we'd eaten one of the best meals of our lives at Ortanique, and their premium wines were enormous glasses at the same price as these Kool-Aid, spirit-free, frozen dreck in a plastic cup. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today. - Tana B., 11/14/2002
