Arcosanti is a project dedicated to demonstrate how architecture and environmental forces can work together. A series of greenhouses, workshops, bakeries, and a theater are the highlights of the tour. Under construction for over 40 years, the complex will eventually house 6000 people. Call for information regarding music events and overnight accommodations. Money from wind chime sales supports the construction effort.
Note that the dirt road leading to the complex is extremely rough/pitted, be sure to keep the speed below 5 mph. - wm, 12/16/2005
