Daughter bought us a gift certificate for Shogun. It expires in one year. I had forgotten it in my desk drawer and we went in just a few weeks after the one year. Manager said no exceptions even though we were regular customers there . They could have issued a replacement gift certificate or a credit. This is a really bad business policy. Most smart businesses dont operate this way. Anyway, for the sake of their bad business policy we wont be going there again and neither will our daughter and her family. We used to be customers, but Shogun recently lost our business due to poor attitudes by the staff as well as a lack of customer appreciation. We will be frequenting a new sushi restaurant down the street. My advise.... Avoid Shogun. - Anonymous, 03/05/2007
the food was freat especially the surfer roll.. my server was more than rude and when i wanted to speak to the manager he told me
that he was the mgr, he was just rude sitting with other customers while we had no drinks food great , service horrible, dont bring yours kids. - mark and diane, 02/05/2007
Shogun is far and away the best sushi in Phoenix! Everything is always fresh and the sushi rolls are some of the best I have ever tasted. Two items I would like to see Shogun improve on are getting a web site with their menu online so I can send it on to people and they could do their take out a little better (not the food but the service and accuracy). - ser, 12/29/2006
