We stopped by Praying Monk for dinner on a Tuesday - seating was not a problem (it was 5pm). The place has a woody rustic feel, kind of like a country bar. Nice selection of beers on tap (at least 20) .. plus 40 more bottle options. Menu features appetizers (calamari, brussel sprouts, pretzel, wings), and some decent entrees (shortrib, salmon, filet mignon fish fry). Everything was great - service, food, price! The only issue: we could not procure a working salt shaker (the chef had to bring salt in a cup from the kitchen!). - wm, 03/03/2013
