This is not a favorable review and I would never recommend making a reservation with Mahoney's Tavern because they WILL cancel on you without notice. I made a reservation a month in advance and confirmed it later for a party of 16 of my colleagues for March 17 at 7:30. I received a call after 4:00PM on March 17 and was informed that my reservation was cancelled. They did not offer any suggestions or help and only said that they were too busy to accommodate us. I have never been treated like this and had to scramble to contact all the members of our group all of which were visiting doctors from Chicago. If you will be visiting from out of town, you should be aware that your business at Mahoney's is not important to them .
