St. Martin's table offers the only good food within walking distance from campus, if you ask me. It's very simple- soups, open-fced sandwiches on wondrous homemade bread, salads, and simple desserts, but the food almost always tastes great (though the salads could use a little work-they often taste as though the lettuce hasn't been washed well) and it's very nutritious stuff. Plus, their proceeds go to carefully selected social justice organizations, so you can feel really good about spending money there. ONE NOTE: IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY OPEN CHRISTIANITY DO NOT GO HERE.. I never feel pressured to participate in the Christianness of this place, but there are ample (tolerant!) religious literatures and displays on the premises. - rawclips, 02/22/2002
