If you wanted to have a good time in uptown this used to be the place, but recently our favorite bar in the whole wide world was sold to a young punk that think's he know's what he's doing BUT KNOW"S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !! my friend's and i will be going to the bulldog for now on it was fun as long as it lasted ' COUNTRY BAR AS WE ALL NEW IT WILL BE MISSED FOREVER !!!!! - pro drinker, 11/07/2008

I recently visited the Country Bar and will never again step foot into this establishment. I warn all bar patrons to get itemized receipts when they close their tabs, when I closed my tab I watched the owner (She claimed to be at least) add extra drinks onto my tab. I proceded to question the charges and instead of actually listening to my comments she proceeded make things up in an attempt to cover her tracks. When she ran out of lies she kicked me out of the bar, I more than willingly left. I can only imagine how many other paytrons this has happened to in the past. - anonymous, 03/07/2007

If you dimes dropped in your glass it is the place for you. Their change is handled loosley over drinks and sometimes you get an extra dime or so in the bottom of your glass. Don't bother complaining. No one there is authorized to do anything. My suggestion...Find a bar where staff is concerned about customer service. - Jeff Caldwell, 08/04/2003
