Mama's Market - yum ! What a great place for a quick or long lunch. I happen to find Mama's one cold December day in 2001, while stopping at Twin Cities Magic and Costume for Christmas gifts. I stopped in to warm up thinking it was 'just a coffee shop' I was pleasantly surprised to find two different kinds of soups waiting for me. When I ordered my favorite basic Ham and Cheese on Croissant was pleased as punch to find they had AMERICAN cheese ! (not many sandwich shops carry American). Both the soup and the sandwich were DELICIOUS and served with a SMILE and a friendly 'Hello, how are you, what is your name', I thought to myself - huh my name? - I have been stopping back, pretty much weekly since that first visit. I bring family and friends when I can. Everything is always at its freshest and the staff is eager to please or fix up your lunch just the way you want it. I did not feel like I was Downtown St. Paul, being rushed through the line. I was a valued customer. I will remain a customer because I value the services and variety terrifc, fresh food offered at Mama's Market. Go you will love it !! ! to serve myself (wait I - Nadine, 07/29/2003

I just have to say that our office loves Mama's Market. It is refreshing to know that there are still places of business where quality (the best tortellini soup ever!) and courtesy (and I emphasize 'courtesy' - never before have I come across a more friendly group of people) are #1 - and...free delivery!
