You can get eight pieces of moist and juicy fried chicken plus a pint of mashed potatoes, a pint of gravy and four baking powder biscuits for $11.99, or the same with all white meat for $13.49 (take-out only). But this friendly and unpretentious East Side neighborhood restaurant has a lot more to offer than just fried chicken. Its carry-out menu also features hot beef and hot turkey sandwiches, both roasted on the premises, and served with real mashed potatoes (both $5.50), plus burgers, steaks, seafood, spaghetti and more.
