I have been a patron of Lindey's since 1971 and have never had a bad meal there. It's a steak house offering really, two quality cuts of meat. Don't go there thinking that there will be a large menu selection and you won't be disappointed. It is designed to look like a northwoods super club and that is really it's charm. At to that it's low key atmosphere. I have lived in new Orleans and eaten at some of the finest restaurants there. While I lived there I used to day dream about getting back to Minneapolis to eat at Lindy's. Go there and experience a trip back in time, not many places in the Minneapolis area like that anymore -- just enjoy it. - Norsky, 02/22/2007
Lindey's has excellent steaks and their service is exceptional. The atmoshpere is relaxed and the employees are friendly. They don't take any resevations but I don't mind, it is worth the wait. - Joe, 02/07/2001
