Decor features a vintage 1942 tow truck! Diner-style menu includes burgers and shakes. - wm, 03/13/2005
I thought that the home made soups tasted like they were sitting around for two weeks. I also thought that the new owners, really destroyed the look of the place, they painted the building Pepto-Bismol Pink? I agree with the other comment about all the tacky signs in their front windows are an eye sore. - chicko, 10/22/2009
Well i recently stoped by this place and i have no idea what this guy is talking about the food was fantastic better then most restaurants have to offer, great menu selection, the service was very friendly the night i stoped in this place they even had karaoke (Friday Night) And if you get the chance to try the tacos from the appetizer menu its well worth it they were like a baja style tacos and good size too a buddy of mine got the nachos and it was huge. And so to the guy that was ranting they do too have a popcorn machine, like that mattered with all the good food available anyway me and my friends had a great night, And fun too with the karaoke. - Passer By, 07/24/2007
We used to love to go to the Lake St. Garage. Loved their mushroom burger! Now when we drive by it looks tacky, tacky, tacky. What is with all the signs and ads plastered on the windows facing the street? It is so uninviting now. Please fix this before it is too late. We also hear the food is not as good and the popcorn is GONE!! Say it isn't so. - Jan, 01/04/2007
Now that it has new owners, I have to say their changes have not been for the better. They've taken away the free popcorn, added distasteful chips to their entrees (fries are still inexplicably extra) and they are apparantly ambivilent about whether they're actually open or not. I just walked down there, at five minutes to noon, and the door was open but the place was deserted, the patio furniture still stacked in the dining room. - Rob, 07/04/2006
Good food, great service, prices a little high, nice atmosphere - anonymous, 03/13/2005
