Let me tell ya, I've dined out more times then I'd like to admit to, but when stopping into the Flameburger on Central Ave. in Columbia Heights was I in for a treat! We had a breakfast fit for a king! The service was pleasant and the atmosophere was very warm you could tell the majority of customers were regulars and you felt just like you were in small town restaurant. Now the FOOD was just wonderful, I had the ranch breakfast with a nice slice of sugar cured ham, 2 eggs, hashbrowns and wheat toast. But the pancakes looked soooo good i had to order a mini stack of 2. Wowwwww talk about awsome panckaes I swear I have never had any like them before. And the hashbrowns were golden brown but wayyyyyy too many. But i have heard before that this restaurant doesn't skimp in any portions off there menu. I just have to say I have been back numerous times and havn't had anything better, from steak&eggs to steak dinners, onion rings and malted milk shakes to die for.
