There is an uncomfortable feeling if your first visit is during a busy lunch but get in line and ask any of the others waiting how the process works and the people will help you and offer food suggestions. The line moves fast and although not touted as fast food, the cooks in the kitchen prepare home-style cooked food at lightning speed when your order is placed. Want something to drink with your order? Grab it out of the refrigerated case before you get to the register and let the cashier know to add it to your order before it's totaled. The menu includes a variety of sandwiches, soups (usually three selections) as well as daily specials all written on white boards with erasable markers. Box lunches are also available. All their creations are excellent; I suggest the cream of green bean soup when available. True home cooking at its best. Open for lunch; check their hours of operation.
