I understand the importance of good food and quality produce. Without an exception, it may be found at Byerly's. The supermarket store is the only one I know which has a restaurant inside, a Caribou coffee shop and full menu deli and seafood department. I do not visit too often as I need items for meals which are inexpensive and I can afford. The Byerly's customer knows the atmosphere from teh carpeted aisles to the quality goods exacts a price. However, I like to cook and attempt many recipes from magazines I read as Bon Appetit to my own as well. I know the samrt shopper may find a byerly's anywhere in the Twin Cities and from the Green Mill Express Restaurant to the Lee Ann Chin service and carry out, a good time can be found. I have found sitting down in the restaurant is highlighted by friendly and courteous servers adn cashiers and beverages go teh gamut from soda drinks, hot coffee to just water. The fact the one location, Edian, has windows and large capacity booths makes the dining experience very worthwhile. However, I wonder how much work goes into keeping those tables and booths clean, the clean restrooms, windows and beautiful floor. I like to clean at home and know the energy expended to accomplish the tasks just mentioned. I do have experience in both cashiering and customer relations and personaaly am finding a good fit where I may combine my love of food with part-time employment. I have no problem getting to any Byerly's location and the delicious entrees, in tin foil pans and plastic tops at Lee Ann Chin's for sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour pork, Cantonese Rice and regular white rice. - Don M, 02/19/2004
