Built in 1895, the theater seats 1400 plus an orchestra pit. The interior of the theater is lavishly decorated and includes a large chandelier which weighs about one ton. The theater is used for 200 performances a year. Free tours avail.: Sat.: 11:30a.m. or by appointment. - sys, 12/26/1999
I recently had tickets to The Christmas Carol. I have never been so disappointed in the management of the theater. My daughter and I had 50 dollar seats for a evening performance. To our surprise, a lady with a 8 week old or so baby sat next to us. Every 15 minutes the baby cried and the lady got up and walked to the back for about 15 minutes. How can they allow people to bring thier infants into a performance. At the least, they should only allow them at special family shows. This will probably be the last time visiting a show at the Pabst. It is too expensive to waste it on this kind of treatment. - pzw@email.com, 12/29/2002

We just visited the theater as a school class and I enjoyed it very much. We go to TJ Walker Middle School in Sturgeon Bay WI, and we are in 8th grade. we are planing on doing a musical called 'Once On This Island.' Thanks for giving us a tour of the Theatre! - Alisa, 10/09/2001
