The Germania Building was purchased in the mid 1980s by a partnership led by former Wisconsin State Rep. Joseph Czerwinski. In 1986, I saw a softbound history of the building in Czerwinski's office that he was using to market space the building. Czerwinski, who died last year, lost the building to foreclosure. - JKraus, 12/16/1999
