DISCOVERY WORLD: I can't tell you how disappointed i was and how cheated i felt when i visited on tuesday, 12/26. I truly felt i was made a fool of to pay $63 entry fee for my family (plus the $7 parking). They came from virginia for holiday time and i wanted to entertain them nicely. i was totally embarrassed when we went to the grand new milwaukee museum and found only a partially completed, under construction mess. much of the museun was not even labeled. there was no indication whatsoever of what was playing in the theaters or how it was scheduled. half the venues were cordoned off. electric drills and sanders were buzzing in the background and minimal displays were available, considering that it was announce to the city that the museum was 'open.' At no time during the purchase procedure did the clerk indicate that this was the case. i wonder if the fees we paid were discounted and will go higher later.....or if we paid full freight for much less than full entertainment. in short, we were very disappointed and will not be back. i consider this unethical and, actually cheating the public. also, while the automated parking machine is good in theory, i found it to be poorly implemented in that it's slow and poorly placed in that a whole crowd is backed up to the elevater with no place for the line to go while they wait for the person at the machine...can't you, at the very least, get more machines??? - Gayle H, 12/29/2006
