Speed Queen is the best barbeque in Milwaukee (makes Saz's look sick) and holds it's own against barbeque joints everywhere else! It's not about atmosphere, not about service, it doesn't offer a 'dining experience;' Speed Queen serves perfectly seasoned slow-cooked meat and magnificent sauce. The ribs are juicy and succulent with the right amount of chew, a perfect balance of smoke, and they taste great without barbeque sauce. I enjoy both of their two types of sauce, a sweet mild and a spicy hot with hints of mustard, but my favorite is a half and half. Pretty much standard side dishes, and an obligatory slice of white bread to extend your enjoyment of the meal by capturing the last few drops of sauce.
