Located in the heart of Sherman Park, Milwaukee's most religiously and culturally diverse neighborhood, this converted building started out as a gas station in 1939. It stood vacant for years before being acquired and turned into a coffee shop around 2000. Built in the Streamlined Moderne architectural style, it is one of the few remaining unaltered buildings of its kind. - Alotta, 11/05/2003
