I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by Ryan Braun's. The previous restaurant in this space, Fratello's, was never regarded highly and I had read interviews with Braun about the his new restaurant that didn't install much hope for this place but everything was done very well. First of all the restaurant looks incredible. The front lounge is surprising and hip and the dining area has a very upscale feel to it. Our server, Katy, was friendly and attentive. Actually one of the better servers we've had in Milwaukee. We went for lunch and everyone in our party got some sort of sandwich and all were very good. And the portions were perfect. In fact, I would guess the average Wisconsin diner may think they're too small but for someone like me who prefers quality to quantity, they were just the right size. The Salmon BLT was tasty and the cibatta bread was great. Another member of our party raved about the garlic Parmesan fries. We enjoyed our meals so much we wanted to stay longer
