This Irish pub's outstanding dish is a piled-high corned-beef sandwich. Other menu items include jumbo tacos, New York strip steak dinner, and burgers and chicken dishes available daily. - sys, 11/07/2002
To say it is best Corned Beef in Milwaukee is understatement, I have always loved corned beef and have had it often my travels. I have never had corned beef that is as tender and tasty as at McBobs ! I sat at bar and talked with owner who knew most customers by name as he made the corned beef in front of me. I talked with him about how good everything was and he admitted the product they serve is far superior to the corned beef most places can buy. However, I can't believe that the other reviews have failed to mention the weekend breakfast. The McGinnity is commonly what we order for breakfast. It consists of their corned beef hash, 3 egg, hash browns or American fries and toast or a fresh scone. The hash is the best I've had with a ratio of 6 to 1 meat to potatoes. I think this is why they serve it with a side of hash browns. The scones are made on site and the variety changes weekly. The last I have was the strawberry scone and it was served still warm from the oven. Also, the bartenders also mix a mean Bloody Mary. - norm, 06/03/2010
