This is hands-down the best no foo-foo French food you can get in Milwaukee. Jacques treats the regulars very well, the food is consistently excellent (crepes, bouillabaisse, great salads) along with great coffee custom-roasted for Jacques by Anodyne (on Brady St. - ask for Jacques' special blend, it's addictiv - Captain Resto, 11/23/2003

Best unpretentous french food in the city. Don't let the eclectic staff scare you and don't be offended if Jack doesn't talk to



you. The food is great, Jacque is not suppose to talk to you and you'll enjoy the no foo-foo atmosphere. The time and energy is put into the food and the value. You'll never leave hungry. - Jim L, 05/27/2003
