Izzy's is new to town. We live in a nearby neighborhood and were excited to see a business come in and renovate one of the many historic buildings in the SoHi (27th St, South of Highland) area. The owner is a chef and this is his 2nd or 3rd restaurant. He came out to our table and was very interested in feedback. We stopped in on their first Saturday and he had an experimental brunch menu. I had a cajun breakfast burrito (w/o tortilla) and the side of potatoes were awesome. My wife and daughter also loved their breakfasts.
