Open for lunch and dinner Mon - Sat, dinner only served on Sun; party room available. Choose from a large selection of sushi, Maki-Mono, Japanese entrees, and noodle dishes. After reading the reviews we thought we'd try this place for sushi. We consider ourselves pretty experienced with sushi and looked forward to a good lunch. Since it was late for lunch, after 2, we had the place to ourselves and the full attention of the sushi chef. We both ordered the sashimi lunch for $16. Miso soup, 9 pieces of chef's choice sashimi, a tekka maki roll and bowl of rice. The fish was fresh and he provided a very nice array including tuna, white tuna, mackeral, salmon, fatty salmon, yellowtail, shrimp, and eel. There were often several pieces of the same, so we got more than 9 pieces each and it was a full platter. Considering that 2 pieces of sushi cost an average of $4, this was a good value. The restaurant was clean and the server and employees were friendly and knowledgeable. It is located in a little strip mall, but if the restaurant is clean and the food is good, I don't count that against them. We would definitely go back for more! - norm, 06/03/2010
