I can't believe all the bad reviews listed...we have eaten at Cempazuchi several times and have had wonderful experiences both with service and food. The best margaritas and guacamole anywhere. My wife and I tried to get service -- the restaurant was crowded but we were told that we would be taken care of at the bar. I have eaten a Cempazuchi several times. Great chips, salsa, and margaritas. Fantastic atmosphere. They have some dishes that I really love and others that I don't like at all, but they are always well-prepared. Never had any problems with the service. I bring my family/guests from out-of-town and again, some of them love their dishes and some don't. Cempazuchi is not a sure fire hit but if you are brave enough to experiment a little you will be rewarded! (My favorite is the steak sandwich.) - Nick, 05/09/2002

I brought a party of six to Cempazuchi this past Saturday and had one of the poorest meals in my recollection. I ordered the dish with scallops,cole slaw and pozole and found it inedible. Worse yet, one of my guests ordered chicken and it was RAW in the center. It effectively ruined everyone's appetite. Overall, EXPENSIVE YUCK. - Awful, 11/27/2001

I had such a horrible experience with this restaurant. We had a party of five adults and a child. They lost half of our order, and we ended up waiting over an hour for our food. The chips and salsa did not have complimentary refills. Due to the incovenience the restaurant offered us a complimentary order of chips. The bill totaled over $70.00, and we received 5% discount. We would not have received this had we not been proactive and physically got up and spoke to the manager. The food was good, but not worth paying due to the poor service. - Sarah, 12/06/2000
