Detail for Buckley's Kiskeam Inn : Restaurant, American / non-smoking

was floating through town and hit up this place on a Sunday night which is a regularly scheduled Buckley's night for the friends whom I was visiting. The decor was surprisingly whimsical and fresh and probably popular with locals for that reason. Not what I've come to expect in the downtown Milwaukee area. That said, I'm not sure that the teal-colored walls has the warmest feel. Hard to judge because it was below zero degrees outside. Also hard to judge what kind of crowd this place draws, with it being so cold and late on a Sunday. I can imagine enjoying it quite a bit for its convenience in warmer climes. The group of friends who met up with us ordered hamburgers, fries, and the like and all seemed more than pleased. Its a nice sized place for a romantic dinner or drinks. - norm, 03/24/2010
