Bremen closed over Summerfest to re-finish the floors and freshen up the paint, add TAPPERS, wine, stuff, etc. Bremen Cafe is but a hop, skip and a jump from my home, so it's a nice place to grab a beer at. I really only like hanging out here during Happy Hour hours, it's a nice casual late afternoon place to get a beer when wanting a change of scenery. Those taps are $1 off until 9pm every day [except Sunday when it' $1 off until CLOSE and so that means.....$1 Blatz, kids! I do like how the cafe is split into 3 sections, and there is pool and pinball in the back, poker games some days. There are two computers for customer use, usually only one is working, and there is a shelf with a whole slew of new games and cards to play with. It is really fun to get a group of people and play Gin, or one of the board games. Really! Games are fun. It's never too crowded that you cannot pull together some tables to make room for all and have a time. You retain the intimacy of a living room Anyways, Bremen overall is an odd little place that is really good to go to if you need to get some work on your laptop done, or for a nice little happy hour with your friends. - norm, 02/25/2010
