Good Gawd! You call that food?!? Sure, the wine and drinks were above par (as they should be, at $20 per round) but a steak 'morando' is nothing more than a charred briquet of cow meat with uncooked herbs adorned under a generous glob of unmelted butter. I dunno about you, but as far as fine dining is concerned, the only thing butter means to me is the attempt to mask the hideousness of a dish, or to somehow enhance the blandmess of an absent flavor by smothering it with bovine secretions. I do not expect to go out and drop three plus figures on a dinner which highlights entrees as soaked in butter and overpriced by 400%. Next time, I will go to an establishment that serves nothing but the finest in plain, unadulterated grilled cuts of beef - Omega, or perhaps Bartolotta's group.
