Agave is a Pandl's creation; and it works pretty well. Huge, indoor seating area. And, a nice-sized outdoor patio. The patio has a central bar; set-up with a beach/thatch theme. In the corner is a wood-burning fireplace; which, I'm sure, is nice at sunset. The tables are spaced well, so you're not on top of your neighbor(s). All the solid staples: Good house margarita; hugely-portioned chips and salsa/guac, etc. The menu has a bit of everything. Tapas, traditional, "entrees", and sandwiches. We had the margaritas, and approved. Chips and guac: Good. We split the BBQ Pork sliders: Kickass. Seriously, I'm getting the big-boy sandwich next time. I had the agave burger; and barely-finished it. Really good burger. There was one entree ordered (tuna w/mango salsa), and was allegedly "spicy". In a good way. There were some other tapas ordered, that I did not partake in. We cashed the whole spread; so, I'm assuming they were good, as well. Staff is conscientious, but not overbearing. They knew the menu, and made some solid suggestions. Kind of out, in the middle of nowhere. Worth the trip. - norm, 12/14/2009
