The Tamarack is an old Schlitz brewery built tavern (1889) which features old woodwork and a large oak bar. There is often live music (blues). They have great food such as sandwiches, waffle fries, and ribs. On Fridays they have free appetizers from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The Tamarack is located near Old World Third Street and the Bradley Center. - sys, 12/26/1999
