Sugar Maple is one of my favorite bars in Milwaukee. It is more laid back than many Milwaukee bars but it is a great place to go and hang out. The atmosphere attempts to be trendy but it's more laid back than anything. It's definitely not a dive bar but is not upscale either. The best thing at this bar though is the beer selection. They feature 60 domestic microbrews on draft. Very few bars in Milwaukee (and I mean VERY few) could compete. Many of them, I had not ever tried or even heard of before coming to Sugar Maple. The selection is A+. I would recommend this to anyone who loves beer and who loves to try new beers. - norm, 08/10/2010
