The New Yorker Bar is truley one of my favorites. The atmosphere is the best. Cool mauve color with some painted murals that are not too stark. The bar always has a darkly light jazz blues atmosphere. Sal Monreal is there every evening to add to the smooth glamor. I have met many different people here including lots of out-of- towners that visit from there near by hotels. Franky Valli's brother who performed at Italian Fest was one of the most recent aquaintences. Did I mention great Cozmos? New Yorker Bar also has some great bartenders! - Patron, 07/21/2002
