This bar rock's! The bartenders are great. The owners Todd & Carol go overboard making sure their customer are having a great timer. Everything from theme nights to Blackjack on Thursdays for trips to Vegas. The music is good and the crowd is friendly. A rarity at a bar of this type. Theres a saying under the Maverick's sign out front that says 'Where you a stranger only once' and they mean it. Once they know your name they don't forget it. They even serve food. My husband & I went to Maverick's for New Years 2002 and we had so much fun. The bartender's were fun

Maverick's is a great place for Packer Games! They have very 'peppy' Packer Parties and offer 'yummy' food! The burgers are great, as well as the beer battered fries! And if you've never experienced their Bladder Buster.....you are missing out! I guarantee, you will have a great time there! I was in Maverick's in September, and had a great time! The bartenders were friendly and made excellent drinks. I had a gin and tonic, my friends had margheritas, and the price was great! I like the big aquarium in the back, I think there was a baby alligator in there! I didn't get a chance to play pool, but the lighting was good around the table. Cool place, casual dress and atmosphere, friendly bartenders. I'll go to Mavericks again when I visit Milwaukee. - tourist from Florida, 11/30/2001
