It's a neighborhood place in my own neighborhood. The menu is impressively upscale, yet the atmosphere is a bit rowdy, loud and casual. I've been there a number of times now and have never had anything even remotely sub-par. On a recent dinner, our party of five were all totally impressed with our dinners, from tenderloin, to tilapia, to the forty8 Italian sandwich. On another visit I had the chicken medallions special with a mild but delicious yellow curry, perfectly sauteed veggies and saffron rice. The chicken was delicious. Husband had the steak sandwich, which I couldn't help coveting, despite my own meal being delicious.
