An English pub, we sat on the sidewalk patio to enjoy the fleeting summer weather. The crowd was sparse, so we expected immediate service. I don't mind waiting when a restaurant is busy, but it seemed like the London fog was going to roll in by the time the waitress took our order. What tempered the wait was the great 'British Invasion' music flushing out from the open windows into the street. When the waitress arrived, I was ready to order the tempting (and apparently 'served anytime') 'English Breakfast' plate. It was another disappointment to find it wasn't available. My wife and I settled on the Fish Fry. We didn't wig out Beatlemania-style over the entree. Somewhat limp fish and a bit greasy. I recommend Kegel's Inn as a personal fave for Friday fish with genuine local Milwaukee flavor. - norm, 04/29/2010
