I love this place. The owner, Todd, is a wonderful, caring person - and the fact that I know this means that he is not the typical aloof, nonexistent owner. I go there to see my friends and hear the shimmering tunes. The club has been updated recently; there is a new DJ booth, a larger back bar, and a stage. I neither find nor need to find anybody pretentious. For me, it is a comfortable, inexpensive place, and I never once felt as if I didn't belong. An unusual combination of style and friendliness is what sets this club apart from others. You can have a drink, anjoy the music, dance, play pool, or just socialoze in the beer garden and not feel as though you're in a meat market. the music is unusual and usually techno/industrial (with some underground/local).
