Diner located near Cobo center. Menu selections include burgers, salads, sandwiches, desserts, milkshakes, and sundaes. Outdoor patio also - open Mon-Fri 7am-4pm. - wm, 06/03/2003

Rundown: Cleanliness: A Decor/Atmosphere: A Service: A Food: D Value: D Overall: C- Zoom! is a 50's style diner that serves hamburgers, ice cream milk shakes etc. It is very aesthetically pleasing with their decor. As well, they have a jukebox which they put on free play playing all the hits of that time. The service is good. They are friendly and courteous and fairly quick as well. Unfortunately this is a restaurant and what really matters is the food. In this, Zoom! comes to a screeching halt. I ordered a hamburger with toppings, fries and a chocolate malt to drink. The hamburger was rather thin and dry. And the chocolate "malt" would be more accurately described as chocolate water. It was extremely thin and did not have much flavor: malt or otherwise. My total came to just over $10. And it is clear that the money is predominately paying for the aesthetics and not the food. When all is said and done I do not recommend going to Zoom!. - Jason W, 03/08/2005
