We recently had dinner at your restaurant and I regret to inform you that the service was abominable and testy. The chicken breast dinner, Caesar salad, and the dessert(chocolate ugly cake) of which I have had many times prior to the other evening was very, very, disappointing. While our party of seven were the only ones in the restaurant I would have expected better from your waiter. The other ladies in our party complained of the veal not being served as ordered,and the filet tasting as though it was warmed over. After spending over $400.00 I'm afraid I shall not frequent the restaurant again and our party asked me to inform you the same. I will say your maitre de was very friendly and most accomodating and I am in hopes you can rectify your problems because Detroit is a great city and I do like to frequent the finer restaurants. - gloria c, 04/27/2006

I think this restarunt is wonderful! I came here for dessert after a adoption convention my family and I had at the Cobo hall. We met one of the dessert chefs there. She is my mother's best friend. This was a memorable evening for our 29th anniversary. Business demanded we be in Detroit for our special day, but it became our pleasure the moment we drove into the Whitney driveway. The service, food(right down to the personalized decorations on our desserts!) atmosphere, the lovely antiques, were exquisite. We didn't expect such a rush from dinner in Detroit. The next day a tour guide recommended we go to the Whitney and we were happy to relate we had had a wonderful experience at the same.
