The restaurant is called NOI and it is located on the Via Italia, Windsors version of 'Little Italy'. There are about a dozen restaurants located with three blocks, all of which have great strong points, but NOI is by far the best. It is a very creative enterprise from the contemporary 'Milan-ish' decor to the atmospheric lounge stlye music lightly piped through the sound system. The menu which is constantly being enhanced with new great dishes (I have found a new favorite every time I have gone.) The menu is best described as being obviously based in Italian, and grabs colors, tastes and textures from many other cultures. The sea bass is marinated in thins like curray and is plated with lightly fried ginger with a nutty/sweet brown butter and spicy chile oil, this dish is beyond words! My husband describes his experience as slightly 'euphoric' when dining at NOI. The service is 'young professional' and with most of the people I have ever met in Canada very personable. NOI has become our personal showpiece to friends, and everyone couple we have brought has been equally amazed and excited by the experience. - Rita R, 01/26/2004
