it was extra tough and big and spicy. with strong waiters a chineese women warned us not to go above and beyond a 5 star spice experince but overexceeded that level and we got are asses kicked. we'll be there next year to defat the squid balls and company. ily - Ryan Tallberg & Augie Skultetty, 02/29/2008

Unlike Middle Kingdom, where you get this HUGE plate of food that is WAY more than you can eat, Kai Garden gives reasonable portions with reasonable prices. At lunchtime, you can get out of there for $8 or $9 and that includes tax and tip. Offering brown rice and white (great for those that are trying to incorporate whole grains into their diet), and a choice of soup and eggroll accompanying each lunch meal, this little spot is a real gem. If you are near Main and Washington and are in the mood for Chinese, Kai Garden is your place. The staff have been there FOREVER (low turnover) and they strive to please you.
