Taking place at Cranbrook Institute of Science, learn about maple trees and maple syrup-making tools. An outside demonstration shows how the syrup is made; dress for the weather as a good portion of the festival is outdoors. Finish out the day with a taste of maple sugar candy. An all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast starts your day out right, with seatings at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 am. This event is free with museum admission. - Alotta, 02/11/2004
