One of my favorite places to go for lunch! The shuttle service is a welcome treat. The food is awesome and plentiful. When you have from 3 to 20 women going to lunch all together, and no one can crab, you have a winner! - Joann K, 03/30/2007
Z's Villa is great because of the food and staff. Mike and Steve are the best, it's too bad the original Z's had to shut down. - Mike P, 11/16/2006
The staff is great but....the owners lack control in letting their managnment run things.the wrost thing is that the waitress tells the people that they are waiting on, no matter if their to blame its 'the cooks that messed up - steiner, 10/26/2006
The food and service are always great. The portions are generous also. Robin (server/waitress) is always quick to serve and please the customers. The owner is friendly and the shuttle service is an extra perk for those working off-site or attending a sports event. I try and eat there at least once a week. Thank you for a Downtown Detroit gem and keep up the good work. - Juan, 07/03/2006
Z's Villa is great! After a tour of the Ford Piquette Plant we had lunch for our tour group at Z's Villa. We had called ahead for the shuttle, and made arrangements through 'Robin' and everything was excellent. The service was great, and there was good size portions, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. Mike, the owner, saw to it that we were taken care of, and it was very appreciated. - Linda, 08/27/2003
The food is awesome and reasonable!!! But the service is crap, don't even attempt to go on your lunch break. FYI: Before you order a drink you better ask the price; the drink prices are outrageous. $8.00+ for a Martini. - Piper, 05/19/2003
This is Z's New Place. Good Pizza - Good Burgers. Food Overpriced because they run a Reed Wings / Tigers Shuttle. Nice roof deck in the summer. Darts and a Juke Box - the TV is too loud for this small 5 table place. the change in capacity to two floors seems to have effected their service, since they never have anyone to work upstairs, and they never have any open tables downstairs - quite a paradox indeed.. too bad they changed from the Old Friendly Z's Place all us WSU Students and Alum Knew and Loved. - Honey Chiles, 03/09/2003
