Ah...the old Rathskeller bar grew up. Growing up in Royal Oak and delivering papers to many of the businesses in Royal Oak on Main and Washington, I've seen many of the buildings and businesses change to appeal to the new community of Royal Oak. I've spent plenty of time in this building and was looking forward to seeing what Rumor's had to offer after many years away. After one beer and a slight sticker shock...I was sadly disappointed. The atmosphere was good but just couldn't see paying that much for a beer. - Mike, 04/04/2006

Best bar in royal oak after 10 p.m., especially during the summers with the deck and cover bands. get there before 10:30 or expect to wait about 10-15 minutes in line. - peter benner, 06/15/2003
