Mr. and Mrs. Miekstyn, owners of the bar, were some great people who treated their customers as family and friends. You were always welcome when you walked in the door and it was always an adventure to be at the bar. They sponsored all athletic teams and after the games the players came to the bar and told a ton of stories. Happy hour, free shots, music, pool and dart games, and it goes on.
