Karras Bros (www.karrasbros.com) is a cool, corner pub type place in downtown Detroit. It is approx. one block from the Detroit river accross the street from the Stroh Riverplace Apartments. There is no smoking indoors which is very nice, and there is an open air deck on top with a full bar that is open when the weather permits. Just opened the first of this year, the crowds have been good, not too large, 2-3 dozen people at a time. Great place to watch the game, or get a drink before going to an event. Check the website, the owner told me a menu is coming soon. Has a Juke-Box, foosball table, electronic darts, and Golden Tee machine. - Aaron S, 02/26/2004

Watched the Red Wing game at Karras Bros the other night. Awesome atmosphere! Owner was very cool,....for a Spartan Alumni. Actually ran into David Hall there,...his voice sounds nothing like his dorky commercials. All in all a great place, can't wait to hang out on the roof-top deck.
