Club Trenchtown is one of the tightest Reggae/Dancehall clubs in Detroit. In fact, The Source voted it the best Reggae club for the past five years. Friday Night's they have Live and Direct where you hear some of the best music from around the world.Saturday Night's is their Dance Hall Explosion with sounds by the Strictly Roots Crew. On Wednesdays they have "The Flow" Poetry and Open Mic night. I've been once and the talent that is on that stage gives Detroit it legendary credibility of giving the world its best talent. They open at 11:00pm and close at 6:00am. Ladies are free before 2:00am. The vibe is extremely laid back and the women are some of the most beautiful in the world. You'll find some of the most diverse women from Africa, England, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. They have me on their e-mail list for upcoming events.
